The last piece of the interior trim before the demolition and the dividing line between what remains and what is torn out and replaced. It functioned on the old window to keep the bottom sash aligned and able to function without rattling. Stops could also be made tighter to help fight drafts. This piece of trim is saved and reinstalled with the new window.
